Max Holloway displays his greatness

Max Holloway has been fighting some of the best opponents in the UFC for over a decade, with occasional minor setbacks only occurring against some of the sport’s all-time greats. In the main event of UFC Kansas City, held at the T-Mobile Center in Missouri, Holloway displayed his legendary status by winning a hard-fought but decisive vicotry against Arnold Allen. Despite entering the fight with a 19-1 record and a 10-bout winning streak, Allen lost to Holloway with scores of 49-46 twice and 48-47. Holloway has long since proven his greatness, having only lost 3 times in a series against featherweight champion and No. 2 pound-for-pound fighter Alex Volkanovski. However, there is a growing sense among fans and the media that Holloway may not be given another title shot as long as Volkanovski remains champion. Volkanovski is expected to fight interim champion Yair Rodriguez in Las Vegas in July, but the fight has not yet been confirmed.
