John Rahm clinches 87th annual Masters

Jon Rahm clinched the 87th Master’s title at Augusta National Golf Club, winning his first career Masters and adding the second major championship to his list of victories. He previously won the U.S. Open in 2021. He is the second Spaniard to have won two different majors, after Seve Ballesteros. Rahm shot a final round of 69, with four birdies, to finish at 12-under. Meanwhile, Brooks Koepka, who had a four-stroke lead on the field, faltered on the final day. He shot a 73 in his third round to remain four strokes ahead of Rahm, but inconsistencies crept up in his final round. He finished 8-under, with a final round score of 75. In the end, Jon Rahm ranked No. 3 on the World Golf Ranking and emerged victorious with a memorable win on Magnolia Lane.
